2. in the event of cancellation within 3 working days \/ 72 hours before the event and if the participant is absent from the event without prior cancellation \/ withdrawal from the contract, the organiser will not reimburse the event fee or any other costs incurred by the participant, such as transport costs.<\/p>
Cancellation fees will be charged even if the event has not yet been paid for.<\/u><\/p>
\u00a0<\/u><\/p>
<\/u>Rebooking option:<\/strong>
RACECAMP offers the possibility to rebook to another event up to 7 days before the booked event against payment of a fee of 20% of the entry fee. The following reasons for a rebooking are recognised:<\/p>- health reasons of the named participant<\/li>
- Professional reasons of the named participant<\/li>
- technical reasons (example: defect in the motorbike specified for the event that cannot be rectified by the time of the booked event)<\/li><\/ul>
\u00a0<\/div>
The reason must be reported to RACECAMP immediately in writing or by email and must in any case be certified in writing by an independent third party (e.g. treating doctor, employer, workshop, accident report, etc.). RACECAMP reserves the right to check the justification of the claim and to request further evidence if necessary. In the event of entitlement, the customer will receive a credit note from RACECAMP in the form of a personalised, non-transferable voucher code for the amount paid, including all additional services booked. The voucher is valid until the end of the year following the year in which the voucher was issued (example: voucher is issued on 31 August 2023 and is valid until 31 December 2026).<\/p>
\u00a7 3 Exclusion of liability<\/strong>
Participants take part in our event at their own risk. They bear sole responsibility under civil and criminal law for all damage caused by them or the vehicle used by them, unless an exclusion of liability is hereby agreed. By submitting their entry form, participants waive all claims of any kind for damages arising in connection with the events against the organiser, the marshals, medical personnel, the race track owners, sponsors, race services and other persons associated with the organisation of the event and the vicarious agents of all the aforementioned persons and bodies, except for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health, which are based on an intentional or negligent breach of duty - also by a legal representative or a vicarious agent of the group of persons liable - and except for other damages which are based on an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty - also by a legal representative or a vicarious agent of the group of persons liable; against the other participants (drivers, passengers), their helpers, the owners or keepers of the other vehicles. They waive claims of any kind against the other participants (drivers, passengers, their assistants, the owners or keepers of the other vehicles) for damages arising in connection with the training or the competitions (qualifying, scoring runs), except for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health, which are based on an intentional or negligent breach of duty - also by a legal representative or a vicarious agent of the group of persons liable, and except for other damages which are based on an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty - also by a legal representative or a vicarious agent of the group of persons liable.<\/p>The exclusion of liability becomes effective for all parties involved upon submission of the entry. It applies to claims on any legal grounds, in particular to claims for damages arising from contractual and non-contractual liability and also to claims arising from unauthorised acts.<\/p>
Tacit exclusions of liability remain unaffected by the above exclusion of liability clause.<\/p>
The participant himself is liable to the organiser for ensuring that only he drives the vehicle he has registered. If non-registered drivers use this vehicle on the event route, the participant is liable for the full amount of any damage caused by them. In addition, a fine of EUR 500 will be imposed on the participant whose vehicle was used.<\/p>
\u00a7 4 Cancellation of the event<\/strong>
Should the event not take place for reasons for which RACECAMP GmbH i. G. is not responsible, the entry fee will be refunded or booked as a credit for another event. Further claims are excluded.<\/p>If special services offered as part of the event that are dependent on deliveries and services from third parties cannot be provided, the participant will be reimbursed for any payments already made for these services. Further claims are excluded.<\/p>
Entry fees paid will be paid out within 30 days.<\/p>
The organiser reserves the right to cancel the event for good cause (illness, insufficient number of participants, etc.), even at short notice.<\/p>
\u00a7 5 Insurances<\/strong>
We strongly recommend that all participants take out the accident insurance offered by us. The general and special insurance conditions of the accident insurance apply. The participant assures with his\/her signature that he\/she is in possession of a valid international health insurance, insofar as the event does not take place in his\/her home country. Participants will be given the opportunity to take out accident insurance. The organiser must be informed of this when the participant registers for the event.<\/p>By registering, the participant assures that he\/she is in possession of valid international health insurance if the event does not take place in his\/her home country.<\/p>
If the participant does not have international health insurance, any medical costs incurred must be borne by the participant. The organiser can request proof of the necessary insurance at any time and exclude the participant if this is not available.<\/p>
\u00a7 6 General conditions and regulations<\/strong>
All motorbikes that are safe to ride are permitted at our event. The safe riding condition of the participant vehicles and the clothing of the participants will be checked in a technical inspection before the event. Participation in the event may be refused in the event of a complaint. In this case, no entry fee will be refunded.<\/p>If a participant jeopardises the life and health of other participants through risky, reckless driving, he\/she will be excluded from training. If a participant wilfully causes permanent damage to the race track or the facilities of the race track (especially burn-out etc.), he\/she will be held liable for the amount of the damage caused. This also applies to the insertion of nails, dowels, screws, pegs etc. into fixed surfaces in the paddock and in pit floors and walls.<\/p>
\u00a7 7 Transponder<\/strong>
All participants will be equipped with transponders. The registration of lap times is only used to check the correct group allocation and not for sporting comparison. For cup and championship events with racing, the times of all participants will be published. Non-publication must be explicitly requested by the respective participant at the registration desk.<\/p>The transponders are handed over against a deposit. If the transponder is damaged or lost during use, the participant will be charged for the costs incurred (currently \u20ac370 gross in the event of loss).<\/p>
If the transponder is accidentally taken home, RACECAMP GmbH i. G. may charge \u20ac5 per day until the day it is returned.<\/p>
\u00a7 8 Technical provisions<\/strong>
Mirrors, cases and other protruding parts must be removed; sharp edges (e.g. sawn-off frame tubes) are not permitted or must be removed accordingly.<\/p>Headlights and indicators should be removed, otherwise they must be carefully masked.<\/p>
Exhaust systems are optional. The driving noise must not exceed the value applicable to the respective race track (92 dB Sachsenring, 100 dB Lausitzring, 98 dB Oschersleben, 102 dB Most).<\/p>
Exclusion due to exceeding the specified values will not result in a refund of the entry fee. Events may be cancelled or longer breaks may be taken to regulate the noise level if numerous participants violate the noise regulations at the same time.<\/p>
Participants are free to choose their own tyres. Their degree of wear must allow safe participation.<\/p>
The organiser reserves the right to exclude vehicles from the event if they do not comply with the technical regulations. A motorbike without a functioning brake system or with a removed silencer will not be permitted to participate in our event.<\/p>
Anyone who crashes must present their vehicle again at scrutineering.<\/p>
\u00a7 9 Protective clothing<\/strong>
All participants are obliged to wear an additional back protector if none is incorporated into the leather suit. Only participants with protective clothing that complies with the regulations (undamaged full-face helmet, leather suit, leather boots, leather gloves) will be admitted.<\/p>\u00a7 10 Start numbers<\/strong>
Each participant must mark his motorbike with a start number. The start number will be communicated at the latest at the start of the event, but as a rule with the entry confirmation. Start number requests will be considered if possible if they are entered on the entry form.<\/p>The start numbers must be clearly visible on the front of the vehicle. The height of the start numbers must be at least 12 cm. They must be clearly legible on the vehicle, otherwise entry to the track may be refused.<\/p>
\u00a7 11 Granting of rights<\/strong>
RACECAMP GmbH i. G. has the right to use photos, videos, film recordings etc. taken during the events for its own marketing purposes. Only photographers and video producers authorised by us have the right to take photographs and use these images commercially at the events we organise. Unauthorised sales of goods and services during the event will result in an immediate charge of \u20ac250 per day of the event.<\/p>\u00a7 12 Implementation and procedure<\/strong>
All participants must present themselves at the registration desk and technical scrutineering before the start of the training session, otherwise the start confirmation will be cancelled. All participants must attend the drivers' briefing. Failure to attend the drivers' briefing may also result in a refusal to participate. The drivers' briefing will be held at the start of the event and possibly before the start of the race in each class. The schedule of the event is attached to the entry confirmation and will be displayed on site. We reserve the right to make changes to the timetable.<\/p>\u00a7 13 Safety requirements<\/strong>
All unauthorised persons are strictly prohibited from entering the safety areas, especially the crash zones. This also includes the pit lane. During races, only the drivers' assistants have access to the pit lane. Smoking is absolutely prohibited in the pit lane! The pit lane is a one-way street! The pit lane may only be driven on slowly. Vehicles may only be driven against the direction of travel. In the paddock, all vehicles must drive at walking pace. Failure to observe this rule will result in immediate disqualification or expulsion from the circuit. Children up to the age of 14 are strictly prohibited from driving in the paddock and pit lane. It is also strictly forbidden for children under the age of 14 to be in the pit lane. Pets are completely prohibited at most racetracks. The house rules of the respective racetrack apply, which can be viewed at any time at the organiser.<\/p>\u00a7 14 Instructions from the event management<\/strong>
Participants and helpers must follow the instructions of the event organisers and their representatives. Violations and offences against the contents of this invitation to tender, in particular endangering by reckless driving in the paddock or disregarding the flag signs, will lead to disqualification or exclusion from the event.<\/p>\u00a7 15 Violations of the conditions of participation<\/strong>
Infringements and violations of the contents of these conditions of participation may lead to disqualification or exclusion from the event. The entry fee will not be refunded in such cases.<\/p>\u00a7 16 Data protection<\/strong>
I agree that the organiser may include my first name, surname, the name of my team, my start number and my position in the results list and publish it on the website www.racecamp-events.de, on social media (Facebook, Instagram etc.) and in the SpeedHive app.\u00a0<\/p>I am aware that the data processing is carried out in accordance with the data protection regulations of the organiser [LINK].
